An homage to Gus Guerra, the father of Detroit-style pizza, and all the great Detroit pizza joints, our Mackinac Island pizzeria is Motown through and through.
With house-proofed Sicilian dough, topped with cheese, tomato sauce, and — dare we say, even occasionally your other favorite ingredients — our pan pies are produced fresh daily in the very same deep-dish square pans that make Detroit pizza, well…Detroit. The thick steel pans deliver a uniquely crunchy but light crust, perfectly prepared oven-baked toppings, and the caramelized cheese edges that hold it all together.
We may not have any cars on the Island, but we have Motown and even a square to spare!
